What is the 2025 GARC Annual Conference?
We are proud to be exhibiting at the 2025 GARC Annual Conference, hosted by the Georgia Association of Regional Commissions (GARC). This year’s conference will take place at the King & Prince Resort on St. Simons Island, Georgia, from November 5–7, 2025, with sessions beginning at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, November 5.
The 2025 GARC Annual Conference brings together regional commission staff, local and state government officials, community planners, nonprofit stakeholders, and industry partners across Georgia. The agenda includes workshops, plenaries, panel discussions, and networking sessions designed to advance collaborative regional planning, economic development, infrastructure innovation, and best practices in regional governance.
What is GARC?
The Georgia Association of Regional Commissions (GARC) is a statewide organization that represents and supports Georgia’s twelve Regional Commissions. These commissions serve local governments by providing vital services such as community and economic development, workforce planning, transportation, aging services, and regional planning.
GARC works as the collective voice of these commissions, fostering collaboration between local, state, and federal partners. By coordinating efforts across Georgia’s diverse regions, GARC helps strengthen communities, promote sustainable growth, and address shared challenges more effectively than any one locality could manage on its own.
