About Kristina Tataru
Kristina Tataru joined CKH Group in June 2023 as the Head of the EMEA Statutory Financial Statement team within the Financial Shared Services Center. In her current role, she leads a team responsible for preparing statutory financial statements, managing external audits, and reconciling US GAAP to Local GAAP standards for more than 55 legal entities across the EMEA region.
This role presents both challenges and rewards, requiring not only strong technical expertise but also close collaboration with various stakeholders to ensure the successful completion of financial statements and external audits. She is responsible for managing the statutory financial statement team, ensuring compliance with local accounting standards, and overseeing timely financial statement filings. Her role also involves working closely with accounting and tax teams, as well as coordinating with external auditors and local advisors. She actively addresses challenges that arise during audits, applying problem-solving skills to facilitate smooth processes. Additionally, she provides ongoing support and guidance to her team, helping them navigate complex audit and compliance requirements.
By combining technical expertise with strong leadership, Kristina guides her team in navigating complex statutory requirements and audit processes, fostering a collaborative and solution-oriented approach to financial reporting.
Kristina Tataru holds a Master’s degree in Finance from Kyiv National Economic University and has over 12 years of experience in finance.
She began her career at PwC Ukraine, where she spent 3.5 years managing full-cycle accounting and tax compliance for multiple clients. She then joined British American Tobacco, where she spent 7.5 years in various roles within the tax department. In the final two years of her tenure there, she transitioned into an Area Finance Analyst and Project Manager role within the Commercial Finance department.
Currently, she continues her professional journey with CKH Group, bringing her expertise to support financial compliance and drive operational excellence. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, socializing with family and friends, meeting new people, watching movies, and reading. She also has a keen interest in technological advancements and innovative tools.
