What is the Georgia Race For Autism?
The Georgia Race for Autism is an annual event held to raises awareness and funds to support individuals with autism and their families, specifically it supports the SPECTRUM Autism Support Group. It features a 5K race, a 1-mile fun run, a 100-yard dash, and a Tot Trot, and participants are eligible for age-group awards. This race is also a Peachtree Road Qualifier.
The event also includes a fall festival, a community resource fair, and a silent auction, encouraging participation from the community to promote understanding and support for autism-related causes. Proceeds from the race benefit local programs and initiatives aimed at improving the lives of those affected by autism. The event is designed to foster a sense of community and inclusivity while providing resources for education, therapy, and services. Proceeds benefit the local autism community.

- 8:00 a.m. – Family Fun Day Begins (petting zoo, inflatables, silent auction, face painting, music, vendor booths, etc.)
- 9:15 a.m. – Race Awards Available
- 10:00 a.m. – 1 Mile Fun Run
- 10:30 a.m. – Tot Trot
- 10:45 a.m. – 100 Yard Kids’ Dash
- 12:00 p.m. – Event Ends
