About Jenelle Gordon

Jenelle Gordon is the Government Operations Coordinator at CKH Group, bringing extensive expertise in municipal government and financial management. Having joined the business development team in November 2025, she possesses over seven years of experience as a city clerk in Georgia and twenty years in executive office management, accounting, individual and small business tax preparation, and in growing small businesses.

In her previous role as a small-town city clerk, Mrs. Gordon oversaw all city hall operations, managed municipal finances and records, implemented the city’s first millage rate, and administered state grants and development programs totaling over $3 million.

Jenelle brings practical insight into municipal operations and financial management, helping CKH Group bridge the gap between local governments and accounting professionals. Her hands-on experience ensures efficient, compliant, and results-driven solutions for every client.

Mrs. Gordon has earned multiple certifications from the Carl Vinson Institute of Government at the University of Georgia and has demonstrated her commitment to professional growth through leadership roles with the Georgia Municipal Clerks Association, where she served as hospitality committee chair and mentoring committee co-chair. She is also an active member of the Georgia Municipal Clerks Association and the International Institute of Municipal Clerks and serves as a board member with Keep Liberty Beautiful.

Originally from Alaska, Mrs. Gordon is married to a retired combat veteran who served 28 years as an Airborne Paratrooper in the United States Army. Now empty nesters, she and (Ret.) 1SG Gordon enjoy time with their four adult sons, one grandson, and two spirited dogs. In her spare time, she loves watching documentaries, exploring family history on Ancestry.com, and humorously admits to maintaining an impressive record of DIY crafting failures.
