Shakira Parker joined CKH in January 2023 and looks after the Cape Town office. With a passion for the employee journey, throughout her 8-year career she has aspired to create a warm and inviting HR space that demonstrates passion for the well-being and happiness of her team. Her current role includes end-to-end recruitment, maintenance of training content, employee onboarding & offboarding; and general office administration.
Shakira’s day-to-day involves working closely with the Executive team, Human Resources, Marketing, Accounting and recruiters. Her experience in the employee lifecycle has given her the skills to ensure that all new team members joining has the best experience at CKH.
Shakira Parker lives in and loves her hometown of Cape Town. She has lived there most of her life and had spent a year abroad in Beijing, China. Living abroad gave her a unique opportunity to learn about international business and engage with people from different cultures.
When she is not working, you would more than likely find Shakira exploring some or other nature trail within South Africa along with her family; or enjoying a relaxed day at home painting.
